“The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride. Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools“. Ecclesiastes 7:8-9 (NIV) (emphasis mine)

As I write this post, we have 53 days, 1281 hours, 76907 minutes and 4614518 seconds left for 2012 to be a thing of the past. And by the time I’m done writing this post, the time noted above in seconds or minutes will be a thing of the past as well.

My point. Lets make the ABSOLUTE most of EVERY second we get…. and not “just” to “finish” out the year, but to “Finish” who we are Strong. We don’t have to race to the finish line, but we do have to be conscious and purposeful about how were going to get there.

Will we pick and choose our “battles”, Will we rush to fight the lines at the mall; only to one day realize that we can NEVER take any purchase with us when we leave this earth, Will we make the most/best out of EVERY relationship in our lives (yes, even the sandpaper people that we “have” to “deal” with), Will we DARE to reach out to the Brick Wall/Guarded people in our lives (yes, even if its family)?

Ecclesiastes 7:8 say’s that “the END of a matter is better than its beginnings” It doesn’t matter if you came from a broken home (like me), or a broken past (like me). What DOES matter is how we Finish. We are NOT defined by our circumstances OR our broken PAST!!

Will we dare to put things in perspective, think past our past, past ourselves, our egos and our pride and reach OUT to a hurting World?

Will we “Finish” Strong?

What can WE do? It’s a question, not a statement and I NEED YOUR HELP!
